We are a family from Winter Park Florida whose daughter visited Auburn University to see a high school friend. Of course, she fell in love with the campus and culture and wanted to go to Auburn. Even though her father strictly told her she will not be going out of state… Since middle school mind you.

After multiple acceptances from various in and out of state schools, our daughter’s heart was set on Auburn. I still said no…

After her acceptance letter from FSU came in, my feet were planted, and she was set to be a Nole.

Then the PowerPoint presentation came from her, with various facts and reasonings on why she wanted to attend Auburn. I eventually folded…

After visiting the Auburn campus for the first time (technically the second as I went to an Iron Bowl with my father in high school) we fell in love with it as well. The quaintness of both Auburn and Opelika, coupled with the amazing golf courses, made us decide to purchase a home. We needed more space to visit our daughter with our family to recreate an environment as close to home as possible.
